Matt's world trek !!!!
What a quality day we have had, we arrived from Cairns this morning at 8am after a 2 hour snooze on jetstar, had us some brekkie (pie, hashbrowns and gravy ), i know its a bit funky for morning but it worked, then we headed for the aboriginal workshop where me and ells where gonna design and learn to play our own didgeridoo, it cost us $100 each but its well worth it, we started at about 10 am and finished at about 5pm so a pretty long day but lots of fun, we painted away with a little help from the aboriginal guys running the place and before we knew it we where blowing down a hollow pipe and sounding off like Rolf Harris himself, its hard graft for sure but with a bit of practice we should be right (i hope), we plan to learn all through Asia when chilling on the beach etc, after we finished the lesson we bolted back to the hostel to get kitted out for the legend himself - Bob Dilan live in concert, how cool is this !!!!!.
We arrived at Brisbane entertainment centre around 7.30 just as the opening band (the Frames) from Ireland where sounding off and in style id say, they had some quality tracks im gonna buy me the album, then after a break the lights went off and on come the man himself, he just sounded off in style, no hello or anything, suppose it is Bob Dylan he is a funky fellow, he played some of his old stuff but with a twist, his backing music to the most popular tracks where all different, Hatty Carol, Watchtower,it aint me babe , it was cool thou it worked but it would have been cool to hear at least 1-2 of his original tracks, all was good thou and the night was well worth it, he played for about 1hr 30 mins i think, he is a legend and respect to the guy for playing in style as he is getting on a bit now but still admired by millions still, after the concert i was gonna buy a t-shirt but they where having peoples pants down big style, $50 so i give it a miss, ells bought a programme so thats good enough, the concert was cool overall and glad we flew down to see it, im now looking forward to seeing the whales in Hervey bay - ohhh yeeeeesssss !!!!!!!!!!.
