Once again we are down the road like the littlest Hobo but unlike the little dog we are getting wet still and this Queensland sunshine im yet to discover !!!!, we decided to head for the crystal clear/sun blessed island of Magnetic and hope to do my open water scuba diving course, its really cheap for $329 you get 4 nights digs/4 nights tucca and the course - BARGAIN, that was off the tick list as the weather for the next week was looking wet and windy , we are gutted due to this island being so nice on postcards and pics but we have picked a funky time to come and visit - never mind Queensland needs water more than we need sunshine due to the drought. We spent 3 days on this amazing island even thou there is not a lot to do in the rain, there is still a few things guys, me and ells hired a 4x4 and drove around today, i think the size of this place is approx 30-40 kms so possible to do in a day, there is some stunning bays around and the fort is a must for the 360 views, it cost us $75 for 24 hours and they put the fuel in - bonus, on 1 of the days we left Magnums hostel about 5 mins up the road where more wallaby's than you can imagine are chilling on the rocks, its magic these little dudes are cool as, mini kangaroo's id say, we spent about 1 hour chilling with em then headed back to the hostel for some tucca, the next day we where having some food at Horseshoe bay when some people where feeding Lorekeets (bright coloured birds like parrots) and the amount of them was unreal, like a sea of colours flying about landing on anyone they fancied as a rest, it was cool as, this place is a nature lovers paradise for birds/fish/and many more animals, i seen about 4 eagle's on the beach feeding - they are hugh, from there we done a bit of trekking and discovered some stunning views around the island, we also found out that the death adder snakes are common around Magnetic, these fella's are seriously venemous so avoid them, i was gutted i didn't get to dive around the island as the coral is supposed to be amazing, im just gonna wait until Cairns then do me some dives, the cash flow is at an all time low so work is needed asap, we might have a interview next week so hopefully we can save some wonga again, its all good i think ????, as for the weather can anyone let me know if sunshine is forecasted for Queensland any time soon, so guys we nearly at Mission beach on our journey up North and still this place has more stunning places each day which is cool so keep checking our pics.
