I have cained the budget dudes by white water rafting on the mighty Tully river , i have just checked the bank account and discovered money don't grow on tree's - ooohhhh nnnnooooo, the trip was quality thou, it cost $195 with a cd of the days rafting, it was a quality course at grade 4 (it goes to grade 6 being rock hard to raft), we set off at 8 am, had a bit of tucca then we got our kit on, the guys briefed us then it was off we go down the river, we rafted for about 4-5 hours with some scary drops/waterfalls/bends etc, at first it was start/stop then after lunce we rafted for ages, i was bricking it on some drops id have to say but hey it was awsome looking back, i was in a boat with 4 girls from down south who where a laugh along with the guide (Paul) who also was a good giggle, i tried to get ells with me but she was a no-go attitude towards it, iv got a cd with loads of pics so have a butchers when i upload em, so we got back at 5pm ish and i was humped with tiredness after the days power-paddling down the Tully river, i then jumped aboard the premier bus to Cairns, where i am now, i checked the bank balance today and almost fell over with shock at the lack of cash-wonga, i have myself a little stash to get through the next few weeks hopefully but im on the job hunt at the mo so i better stop updating this journal and get my ass into gear, so adios for now my friends will update soon HOPEFULLY with a new job lol.
