We have about 10 days before we leave on the trip. Things are rolling along on the get ready train. We have purchased a car to tow 4 down, wrecked that car and purchased another. The face plate is on the new car and the brakes will be done this week in preparation of our Aug. 3 departure date.

Now it is just check things off the many lists we have made. Do we have enough shampoo, enough dog food, did we prepare the house correctly so our kids don't have to do too much while we are gone, is the motor home ready, and on and on.

I look forward to the trip with a little trepidation, I wonder have we bit off more then I want to chew. I have never been gone this long, I fear I will get about half way through the trip and start missing home and my kids/grandkids so much I will wish I could just go home. Maybe not, hoping face time will be enough to hold me for almost 3 months.
