A late start but I'm up in time to catch the free pancake breakfast put on by the hostel - score. During the night (day in Perth) I've received some more insurance/license info, one of which may be very promising - a quote from the motorcycle insurance company that specializes in motorcyclists touring other countries. I give them a call and they say that they'll insure me for an okay rate on my AUSTRALIAN license and that Ontario will recognize this insurance as including third party (known as basic here) which will enable me to transfer ownership of the bike - WIN! I ring service Ontario to check this is correct and they confirm so. I also check my Canadian account and my transfer from Australia is in -BOOM! I visit the bank and they give me some sweet cash. Things are looking good.
I meet regan for lunch and get my notebook back which I left at his apartment. After lunch I take a walk through PATH, the underground city network of malls that is crowded during winter and rainy days like today. I make it to Dundas Square and check out a few stores for Go-Pro gear. Scamming some free wifi I call Henry, owner of the bike and set a time to meet to complete the forms and pay him. 10am tomorrow. Its after 5 when I get back to the hostel and I get chatting to Scott from Adelaide. The hostel is putting on a free BBQ dinner and over dinner we decide to head to the cinema across the road to catch the Hangover 3
