Marty's Trips
Another great nights sleep in the back country. I pack up camp and get on the road to Bracebridge. Lunch in Parry Sound provides a nice break before I arrive Bracebridge. I'm looking forward to a night at a cheap b&b recommended by the Lonely Planet, but it has closed down. Accommodation in town is expensive so I continue south to Orillia. A YMCA camp is listed in a backpackers guide I have picked up but their rooms are too expensive. They only have camping for people on a geo-caching tour. I say that I've heard of geo-caching and a bit of sweet talking gets me a place to stay. (Is geocaching like giving pirates GPS to find their buried gold? Kind of removes the excitement from the hunt)
