Met up with Anne at 11:30, great brunch, went to check out On The Move exhibition but closed,

1:30am flight to Toronto, arrived 6:30am, strange being back in winter, bus and train to downtown, checked in to backpackers, bought new hiking boots and some gloves, walked around downtown.

An easy but long ride along the northern shore of Lake Superior takes me from Batchawana to Thunder Bay. I say a difficult goodbye to Marc as he heads off to work after we've had breakfast together. Im offed to stay for longer and to check out more of Algonquin, but its time to move on. I make the most of having a bathroom and get set for the next few days of travel. The forecast is for rain but I'm blessed with a beautifully sunny day as I ride through Sudbury and Sault say Marie towards Wawa. I decide to make camp early when I spot a nice little track down...

We pack up camp on a misty morning and canoe back to the car. The weather isn't looking promising so we stop at the visitor centre to check the forecast and get some advice. We resolve to canoe Lake Coon and hike the The Track and Trail. The rain holds and the hike is great.
