I'm awake at 7:30 and I've got a 1:30 ferry to Manatoulin Island but its raining. So I pack up what i can and try and get some rest in the tent. I say bye to Haylea (campground owner) and head off to the ferry. I get the ticket for me and the bike to make the 2hr crossing and while pulling into the queue there is a KTM 990 Adventurer waiting in front of me. Paula and Rocky have been traveling through America and will travel to the east of Canada before shipping the bike to Iceland to explore there. We load the bikes on the boat and strap them down for the crossing. Having a bike makes you very attractive... unfortunately this attention is predominately from 40 year old men (maybe my next bike should be a Harley, I hear girls like shiny things). We spend most of the trip bailed up talking to a few about our journeys and their dreams to do the same. We are rescued by the ships engineer who Paula and Rocky met while hiking yesterday, and get a private tour of the ship, from the bridge to the engine rooms. Before no time has passed we arrive on the island where it is raining hard. I Say bye to Paula and Rocky saying we're sure we'll see each other again on the journey and head off to find some accommodation. A few nights in a guesthouse are the ticket after a few nights camping and I find the warm, dry and friendly Auberge Inn where I meet Assia and Nabila (Paris - France).
