An early start after some stealth camping and I'm on the bike to see the church at Guelph. Our Lady Of Immaculate Conception towers over the charming city of Guelph and servers very well like most church's in its function of humbling those who enter. A stroll through the town and I'm back on the bike headed towards St Jacobs. I pass thought the town and on to the markets for which it is well know. I find some great food for lunch in the market and sample the apple fritters which are as amazing as the queue for them is long. Refueled i hit the road for the lake shore town of Port Elgin to follow the shore road to Tobermory. The farmers fields soon change to dense forest on this drive up the Bruce Peninsular and by 7:30 im in Tobermory. Signs along the road into town advertise campgrounds but im eager to find a place that offers a relaxed forest setting as opposed to an RV paddock. I soon find such a place and setup camp for the night.
