An early start after some stealth camping and I'm on the bike to see the church at Guelph. Our Lady Of Immaculate Conception towers over the charming city of Guelph and servers very well like most church's in its function of humbling those who enter. A stroll through the town and I'm back on the bike headed towards St Jacobs. I pass thought the town and on to the markets for which it is well know. It's an overcast morning when I load up the bike and head out of Niagara, but at least it's not raining. I continue south of the stunning Niagara Parkway to Port Colbourne. Heading west along the Lake Eire shoreline it's not long before I'm in Port Stanley having passed through Long Point. I turn north here to London and then to Kitchener-Waterloo via Woodstock. Halfway between KW and Guelph I find a good spot to stealth camp.

I had hoped to hit the road south west today but its miserable outside so I make the most of a day indoors planning and researching the next part of the journey.

The friendly hostel owner Patrick recommends I trek along the Niagara River from the grotto to the whirlpool. I spend the morning on the river banks and get to see my first chipmunk as well as some snakes.

Mark who I met last night had hired a red Mustang convertible in the US and drove Route 66 and then to Niagara. He is bored of driving so hands me and Sammy the keys. Cruising up the Niagara Park Way with the top down and Daft Punk drifting from the stereo - today is a good day.
