So after a side trip I'm back in Toronto after a couple of days away. I arrived here around 3 am and am staying with Anne and Regan in a beautiful apartment on the waterfront. We headed out for dinner near Dundas Square with Annes friend Heather and then walked back through the city. The change between the quiet little town i was in a few hours before, and Toronto, is intense. I plan on spending a day or so here before heading to Ottawa.

I meet Assia and Nabila at their hostel at 10am and we walk to the boat terminal. A short ferry ride later and we spend the morning exploring Toronto island. There isn't much on the island (more for kids) so we chill on the beach for a while. Back in town we agree to catch up that evening to check out the CN Tower. I awake to a textbook Canada vista, a crystal blue lake surrounded by forrest, and no one for miles. This is the canada i dreamt of.
