I awake to a textbook Canada vista, a crystal blue lake surrounded by forrest, and no one for miles. This is the canada i dreamt of. A relaxed breakfast on a lakeside rock and then its time to pack up camp and haul 3 hours back to the road. I meet my first people in a day at the car park and get chatting with them about travel and the beauty of Canada. By 3 I'm in Killarney township and have lunch at a small diner. Taking time to recharge my stuff I chat with the staff while enjoying a fat burger with poutine and plan my next moves. A quick stop to pick up some soup, I catch the store just as its closing and also fill up on water at the park office. Then i head back to my fauna trail where i spotted the bear and elk two days ago for another night backcountry camping. I spot a moose on the trail to my camp.
