Sadly Marty had to go to work today, so l thought it would be nice to head into Darwin by bus and go to the wave pool for the morning. We arrived around 10:30am and got a great spot under the umbrellas. It was again another warm day, so l think the wave pool was a great choice. Boo grabbed a boogie board straight up and headed out with Boof to teach her how to ride waves. So great to see Boo and Boof together, a great uncle! Nik, Meg and l bounced over the waves...

After a great night sleep we all woke up refreshed and ready for a brilliant day together. After bacon and eggs for breaky we all headed over to say goodbye to our great mates, the Perkins. They were heading off on the road again after three months here in Darwin. Got a bit teary as always when saying farewell to our traveling mates, but l know it won't be last we see them. Well the night before l had a tad too much to drink, which wasnt a good thing seeing that l had to pick up Boof and Nikki at midnight. We had a few drinks with Sally and Aaron and it ended being called "the sobering up party", which eventually worked when l arrived at the airport at midnight. Thanks to Sally, l have had another great week in Darwin!!! If l hadnt found Sal to hang with, l think l would have gone bonkers. Marty has been working all week, and after l finish school with Boo, theres not much else to do in the day. She has been the best company, had great laughs and its great to talk to someone who understands your frustrations with travelling and doing distance education with the kids. Darwin is living up to being a great place, thanks to our awesome mates the Perkins family. This week has been another fantastic and busy one. We have conquered more school work with Boo whilst having some mini tantrums. Meg on the otherhand has been a little better now that she sits down with her workbook and does some school work with us.
