Day 19. Bryson City, North Carolina.
Started the day with a trip to the farmers market. Two very expensive croissants and a coffee later and we were ready to go. We then finished off the last 80 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway (including the highest point) before heading for the Cherokee village. That was interesting. I had no idea that the English were evil, and cowards, and that the Cherokee were models of social justice and equality until we went there. The play that they performed could have been written by the North Korean propaganda ministry! After leaving we headed to our hotel in Bryson City. Place is absolutely packed ready for the eclipse so we had to settle for pizza at one of the out of town chains. It was still very nice though.
