The hotel has a nice wave pool and a lazy river that people could drift around the pool area on. With the temperature expected to be around 40 degrees little persusion was needed to get our monies worth and join the people doing the same.
For the evening we went to see Cirque du Soleil's Zumanity at New York New York (a casino with you guest it a New York theme). This was one of the top shows that we managed to get for a massively reduced price. There was lots of eye candy and some impressive acts (really enjoyed this).
After we caught a taxi to dowtown Las Vegas and the Fremont St experience. Imagined a street lined by Casino lights but instead of sky you have the largest LCD screen in the world - at least half a mile long. Every hour their would be an impressive visual and audio display to rock anthems.
Downtown is a lot lot cheaper than on the strip, here we could find a Cuban restaurant that was reasonable and the quirky decorations made you feel that you weren't in just another fast food establishment.
Many drinks were had dowtown before we headed back to the strip to carry on the festivities. Did not get back to the hotel until 5am.
