We left Kanab and mad Wayne, a bit sad we liked it here. The plan was to go to Zion but the thought of going through the road works on the way was not appealing and we were still a bit knackered from yesterdays hike. We took a different route that ran along Utah, Arizona and eventually into Nevada missing out Zion.
As we dropped down the temperature started to rise, at 5000ft it was 96 F. We however have dropped to probally the same altitude as Vegas at 1000ft and it is real hot.
It is going to be a laundry and stay out of the heat day.
