We wandered into town and caught the free tram round to the 'backpacker area' where we were assured that we would find a good deal on hiring a car! We had a mooch in a few places before settling on the cheapest, obviously! We are collecting another little Getz next Tuesday until Friday to do the great ocean road.
We then headed back into town towards the shopping area and mooched through one of the shopping areas. We had Sushi for lunch and continued to mooch.
We stumbled across St Francis Catholic church which is meant to be one of the most visited churches in Melbourne so we went in to see what it was like! From there we wandered down Swanston street which is the main shopping area and back towards Federation Square where we had coffee yesterday. We needed to sort some bits and bobs for our trip next week so we had a short day and headed back to the hostel to get them done!
