We decided that we really ought to see the beaches while we're in Sydney, even if the weather hasn't been great! We woke up to the sound of yet more rain! We were not impressed and it was quite heavy too. We decided that today was to be a lazy day so we spent the day planning bits and bobs for the next few weeks. We needed to look into a few things about Fiji and the great ocean road etc so spent the time doing these bits. First thing we went to the Australian museum! We thought it would be quiet considering it was a Sunday and just after xmas, but we were wrong!! We had a lovely cosy night sleep and woke up quite early! We got ready and set off to explore again! It was wet again but quite fresh! We walked down to Darling harbour via Hyde park again! It was already getting busy in the shops as all the crazy people raided the sales! Christmas day!! Needless to say, we weren't up early!! Feeling rough and hungover we stayed in bed till lunchtime! We were going to go to the beach but it was forecast rain so we stayed at the hostel as they were putting on an xmas party with dinner! We exchanged presents of Mint choc Tim Tams and caramel choc!
