Our last day at Kuata and we spent it on the beach again! Its a lovely beach and the sea is perfect for swimming! We watched the workers carrying fish from a boat in the direction of the kitchen, and as you can guess, we had fish for lunch and it was delicious!!
We jumped aboard the small boat and left the island and the singing and dancing to get on the big boat. They seemed sad that we were leaving and wanted us to tell everyone about their island!
We had another shortish journey down to South Sea Island which is the last island before the mainland and is a part of the Mamanuca islands. The boat was hot, stuffy and jam packed so we had to stand all the way! We had a posh transfer boat with a roof and steps! The island is tiny and you could easily walk around it in less than 1 minute! It was lovely though and nice accommodation!
The food was lovely, we had steak for dinner after a starter of soup! The food here has been very westernised, not what we had expected! We watched sunset again before being summoned to play games! The Fijians think of the most simple games but that are quite fun! It's because of them not having toys and games when they were young so they made their own! It was very amusing and Mark yet again, loved the dancing!!
We spent the evening chatting to a group of people, including Marks football buddy from our first island!
