G'Day from Melbourne

Well here we are in Melbourne, after an early and bumpy flight we arrived bright and early and headed straight for the city.

Its been a long day today but we have still managed to fit in a little light sightseeing around the city after coffee and lunch with Richard we were let loose on our own!!!

We had a walk down by the Yarra river and admired the city skyline and tried to formulate a plan. After a few minutes we decided that a free tram ride around the city was a real good way to get familiar and a nice way to relax for about an hour!!!

Once we got off the tram we headed for Federation Square (like Millenium Sq in Leeds) and sat in the sun but we were surprised to run into the King himself. Elvis had left the building and was out on the streets of Melbourne 30 years after his untimely death, we took the opportunity to get our picture with him before he had to get on stage and sing a few numbers. By this time we had to meet Jill for our train ride back the house.

Jill and Richard are looking after us really well and we have just had a great lasagne for dinner. Tomorrow is another day and we will be raring to go.
