G'Day

Just to let you all know that we are still here in Melbourne but decided to have 2 relaxing days while we have the chance. It has been nice sleeping in, visiting the local shops in Hampton and Sandringham, drinking coffee and eating paninis and cakes (like the one above,yum,yum) in the sun.

Yes folks its still winter here and we have been blessed with the most gorgeous weather around 15-18 degrees but not too hot even for Mel and me!!!!

We spent most of yesterday booking onward travel and accomodation and even did a little shopping in the mall. I splashed out and bought some new shorts and Mel bought a great summery top.

For those of you that have not read the message board I have finally had my haircut (1st time in 4 months!!!) and Mel is at the Hairdressers as we speak having her barnet cut. We have had 2 days to recharge and are ready to go as we have a fun packed Friday, Saturday and Sunday before leaving for Sydney via Canberra on Monday evening.

Tomorrow is the Neighbours set (which as you can imagine I am ecstatic about,not) and Healesville animal sanctuary, Saturday we are spending in the city possibly with a cruise on the river and a visit to the Guggenheim Museum and Sunday is a day out at the 'Footie' thats Aussie Rules at the MCG with a 100 thousand sellout!!!!!

Should all be good fun so will keep you posted.
