You will not be surprised to know that we have had a bit more rain today but not as much as the last 3 days.

It was an early start today as we met for our confined water skills by the pool at 8am and then had to perform 18 key skills while in the pool. Some were easier than others and for some you have to take off your mask under water and swim around then another skill requires your air to be cut under water by turning off your air supply and then having to use you buddies alternate air supply which was a little nerve racking but we got through eventually. The time seemed to fly by and it was 1pm before we had finished this part of our course.

After lunch we had more classwork to get through which took us right up to 5pm, it's like being back at school, which of course Mel loved and was girly swat in the exam with 50/50 I could only muster a paltry 47/50 !!!!!

It has been another long day and tomorrow we go out on the boat to do our first 2 dives in the sea.These are only to 12 metres and we have to do some more skills whilst down there which will probably be a little scary. We then finish on Sunday with 2 more dives one to 18 metres and the other not quite as deep but 18 metres is still a long way!!!

Even though Koh Tao is a small island we have not managed to see any of it yet as we always seem to be doing some dive related task or homework!!!
