I found where I want to live now! Holy balls, so beautiful. Okay, let's start at the beginning of the day. The port in this area isn't big enough to get the cruise ship into, so we had to go from the cruise ship to these little "tender" boats that took us to the dock. The tenders were freaky cuz they're so small and they had so many of us jammed in there. Plus they're the boats that we'd have to evacuate into if anything serious was wrong with our cruise ship. No more Rome! This morning we boarded a shuttle and headed to Civitavecchia (I will never remember this name), and got on our cruise ship! Saying it's huge is an understatement. There's 15 floors (it's three days later when I'm writing this, and I still get lost), and has so many different shops and restaurants and rooms and bars and ... yikes. It's pretty sweet though. This was a lonnnnng day. We hopped on a train pretty early in the morning and headed for Florence. The train was one of the fancy high-speed trains! Super neat to be on. The little screens on the train showed the route it would be taking, as well as the speed as we went along. The maximum I saw it get up to was 250 km/h. HOLY F%$@!
