Not much to report today beyond even more amazing food and beautiful sights. This excursion was probably the only one I've been on where I can honestly say I would've rather stayed on the cruise ship all day than go on this tour. The guide didn't speak very good English (I'm being very nice here), and I enjoyed very little of the tour we went on. But oh well, I'm still in Italy, hanging out in the hot sunshine.
We had dinner at the five star French restaurant on the ship this time, called Jacques. It was soooo good. I had escargot as an appy... and was proud to say The Keg's is better! Not enough garlic in these ones. I also had some pumpkin soup which was actually served out of a pumpkin (mostly the reason why I ordered it). And my dinner was a mind-blowing Lobster Thermidor, which I have never had before and thoroughly enjoyed. Dessert was Crepes Suzette, topped with Grand Marnier (Amanda... yes I thought of you).
After dinner we hung out at a few of the different bars around the ship. At one point Dad, Marlene and Ian were discussing some of their "this one time, when I was super drunk" stories, which we were all laughing at. Everyone had pretty funny stories, and I'm proud of my ridiculous family. Thankfully, no one noticed that I didn't share any of my stories...
