We started the morning by packing most of our things up before heading out again on the subway to the area we seemed to frequent the most, flatiron. There we headed to the hill country chicken restaurant for their breakfast specialities, the pictures do the talking!

From there we took a walk a bit further downtown to have a look at some shops and pick up a couple of items before heading back to the hotel and packing up the final things before checking out. We then headed back to one of our local bars for a cocktail and a rest before deciding we'd make use of the Macy’s sale that was on, this meant heading back on the subway! After the shopping we enjoyed another bar where the barman was Irish (shock) and had a bit of a sitdown before heading to the Rockefeller centre. We head to the observation levels to get some spectacular views of all the areas we had been visiting and even further afield, after we took in the sights and grabbed some pics we decided there was time for one more meal!

After a slight detour on the subway we arrived in the east village and alphabet city and had a very apt last meal of hotdogs, the place was very small but the dogs were amazing, the east village was a hip area and seemed a world away from the busy touristy areas.

We then headed back to the hotel to retrieve our bags and get changed before jumping in a taxi and heading out to the airport, check in and security were quick and soon we were enjoying our first glass of our fav champagne. We decided to have a meal in the lounge before a treatment at the spa and then some more booze before we were boarding our flight. We changed into our PJs as soon as we could and settled in for the night, a quick cheese plate and then off to bed!
