Today we headed to the world famous Carnegie deli for the biggest breakfast of the week so far, this place has lots of well know customers who's pictures adorned the walls. Wholesome American food, served with a dash of New York stern waitress made for full stomachs.
The rain had arrived so the plans were to make use of the subway and to head to some shops for a change, the shopping didn’t last too long and instead we settled for some glasses of Prosecco in the Macy’s basement bar. We’d managed to pass enough time to start to feel able to eat again so we headed to the Greenwich Village area and a place called "the meatball shop" whose speciality was, funnily enough, meatballs. Another cool little place where we ate and relaxed for a couple of hours before heading back to the hotel.
After getting our glad rags on we headed up to the lounge for some awful wine before heading out for the nights entertainment which was at Studio 54 to see Cabaret, one of Mandys favourite films. As soon as we entered the building we were made to feel like we were in the Kit Kat Klub, the building was beautiful and the cast and dancers were amazing. It was really good and almost better than expected .Unfortunately, we were not permitted to take photos so you will just have to take our word for it !After the show we headed to a late night dinner for some eats before heading back to the hotel.
