Our first full day in NYC started with a bagel in the lounge in the hotel- it was ok, we were dying to get out to explore the city and get something better to eat later! We had decided to spend the day meandering through Central Park- which took all morning. We walked the entire length and saw just how busy and well used the park is. After our bellies started to rumble, we headed to a hotdog stop that we had heard about and got a quick something something.

After a little more wandering we ended up in a diner where we sampled some sandwiches, which were massive as expected.

The start of our evening began in the hotel lounge with a couple of beers before catching the subway to Lower Manhattan where we tried a fried chicken diner, it was really good but unfortunately we never had room for pie, of which there was lots to choose from.
