Planning for a quiet day we had breakfast at Mels Diner then walked about 3 km down to the Beverly Shopping Centre. I got a badly needed haircut, had a wander around then headed back to Sunset Blvd. Along the way we came across a Caddy yard (Cadillac Car Yard for older yank tanks). There were some classics in there. Walking down to the Beverly Centre was fine as it is mostly down hill but heading home is a killer of a hill between Santa Monica Blvd and Sunset blvd. Was b*****ed by the time we got to the top. Oh well time for happy hour a the Sunset Trocadero Lounge and people watch on Sunset Blvd. Great place, cheap drinks at happy hour and the bartenders knocks up a killer margarita. Had a few drinks watching the really expensive cars cruise by then headed back to Saddle Ranch Chop House for Tuesday all you can eat ribs. During the dinner a lass decided to try her luck on the mechanical bull. We normally see two or three girls try this every time we are there. Saddle Ranch is a very popular place, on both Monday and Tuesday nights it was nearly at capacity and even has Valet parking. Heading off to Japan tomorrow so headed home to have a relatively early night
