Well arrived in our hotel about 10am and they gave us a room right away...what a relief! A shower was heaven. We then took the hop on hop off bus around the city. Budapest is very old and buildings are very bleak...all stores are imbedded in old buildings...hard to see. No shopping malls. We woke up to smog even worse than yesterday....they say it happens....Indonesia burn off...only once a year and we managed to find that once. We set off for the garden at the bay...took a guided talking tour on a tram of the outside gardens....very impressive....they have fake trees that have vines growing on them....act as irrigation system. Then we toured the cloud emporium which was amazing....the plant life as you move up the rainforest levels...the orchids ...

Jet lag....both up before light. Breakfast included in hotel so pigged out on that....boy the Indonesians eat funny things for breakfast....curry...soup...rice...and lots of yukky looking stuff! Up at 5am....Kurt very disturbed....took him for little walk but he was scared of dark.....come 545 Elaine emerged and kurt was all over her....alas he did not have to be alone for 9weeks!
