Well got up lazily, had breakfast and off to climb 10,000 feet to the crator on top of Maui. What an adventure! My tom tom would not recognise the park so we put in a little town...Olinda...half way up the crator....great idea cause it gave us a town called Makawao to go thru and get petrol...well the gps sent us a back road to Olinda and we did not believe it so turned around and went main way.... Well slow start to day....lovely....after breakfast we wandered down to beach where we had our resorts own cabana with heaps of chairs, towels, fridge, ice, microwave, oven, all the dishes you want and dishwasher....food and drinks were BYO...right on beach...so cool! I went for swim in Ocean...amazingly strong currents...could hardly stand up! Loved it! Then I went for long beach walk while Fred basked in sun in our lounge chair in cabana... Eventually we wander...

Fred was dead tired...I got up at 6:45 and went for long walk down beautiful beach....so pretty and nice! Back to room by 7:45...both had showers, packed and went for breakfast...same restaurant...just loved it! Really pretty place right on beach but not much to do if you don't lie in sun...and room was just a hotel room....very very hot..even for Hawaiins! After breakfast I trained my tom tom for usa and put in our next destination. We then slowly drove up west ...

Well we said goodbye to our friends last night with a Thai dinner on bribie...really nice time. Got up this morning and cleaned floors after jaylo visiting...then went to lyn and Stans to say farewell and pick up umbrella....back to pack and at noon Keith and chris came for coffee and goodbyes....lyn picked us up at 1:30 and we got to airport to find flight delayed one hour....so hung around till 6:30 playing crib in pub when it finally left...long flight...not m...

Well today we are both knackered!!! My shoulders hurt from kayaking and we just feel tired. So we said it was to be a relaxing day and it was! I packed, went to Wallmart to buy a new suitcase, filled up with petrol, found car drop off place...etc etc. Had lunch, a nap, a big swim in local pool...and that's about all. Had a lovely meal in adjoining hotel and bed early as we have to be up at 4am...drop off car and get a 6:30 am flight to Oahu....then a 10:00 am fli...
