Well slow start to day....lovely....after breakfast we wandered down to beach where we had our resorts own cabana with heaps of chairs, towels, fridge, ice, microwave, oven, all the dishes you want and dishwasher....food and drinks were BYO...right on beach...so cool! I went for swim in Ocean...amazingly strong currents...could hardly stand up! Loved it! Then I went for long beach walk while Fred basked in sun in our lounge chair in cabana... Eventually we wandered through nearby hotels to find Whalers village where there were shops galore...shopped a bit, had coffee, then took a free shuttle back to our hotel for lunch.... Then we went on a journey up the northern coast....lovely views and stopped at Ritz Carleton, walked down to their restaurant by the sea, had a cocktail, walked back up the big hill and went on adventurous drive up north....breath taking views to ocean...desolate country....windy hairpin turn road up and down steep hills...one lane bridges....till we came to one lane road and frisked....did 3 point turn when we could and prayed no one would meet us....got safely thru that and winded our way back home....safe and sound...and very tired! Salmon and veggies with montreal steak spice....lovely...bed early
