Very long day....got up at 5:30am and returned rental car....then waited 30 minutes till restaurant opened and had breakfast....off to Oahu...they would not let us check bags all the way....so only to honolulu....good thing we had 3 hours wait at honolulu airport before boarding plane to Chicago....getting sick of travel now, no problems thru customs...hawaii always easy....in Chicago our next plane to ottawa left from same terminal so just an hour or two to wait....no dramas but very tired now....ok last jaunt to ottawa..then pick up rental car and drive to CALABOGIE! Big welcome sign on back of moms car and she had mattress for me in shed with the proverbial can of beans! Very nice touch! We had a lovely dinner at Susan's new house after scouting it out...very beautiful! Then back to the lodge to unpack and socialise with Jim, Dianne, peter and Donna....later night than expected...but fun
