Well as was the past few days, this morning was nice but by noon we were getting tornado warnings! I had a coffee with mom and peter then went to shop to buy bacon and eggs for breakfast. The two girls stayed up most of the night so,they needed some hang over food! Fred and I left them to sleep and went over to moms. Debbie and I swam to the island and back.....much more difficult today as the waves were huge! We spent the morning with my family and then came back to the lodge. Fred's son Allan and his wife Rita and her mother Shirley arrived at about 1pm....we had lunch, chatted, weather was horrible....heavy heavy rain....and wind was unreal. We lost our power and had to go and buy candles. Mom, Susan, Barry peter and Debbie came over for,a predinner drink and to say hi to alan and rita. I then managed to make dinner in the dark....did potatoes and chicken on the BBQ and made a salad.....just as we were finishing dinner power came back....thank goodness....we were carrying pots of water from the lake to the toilet....didn't want to do that for too long!
