Well the ship got in at 10 am to port. We were greeted by the big guitar and a town crier welcoming us to Sydney! We got a cab ride with Winston...what a hoot! It was raining all the way to Baddeck but we had fun as Winston is a psychic Astrologer as well as cab driver! Very tired today so decided just to go for a stroll down the lovely boardwalk. We found a war ship Sackville - a corvette - on the dock that was like a museum...spent an hour touring it...very informative. When we left the ship the sky opened so we headed for a shop to buy an umbrella....then we went to the maritime museum which was very interesting. Saw a film of a crew filming the Titanic under water...takes them 3 hours to get below to the titanic and they fil...

Well the captain got in late and we had to line up for the first time on this ship! We took an excursion to Peggy's Cove where I went as a youngster and fell on the rocks and have a scar forever to remind me of it....although I don't remember much, the place was spectacular! We slept in today! Yeah! Had breakfast upstairs at 9:00am followed by a walk around the deck and a view of giant guitar and grand piano at warf from top deck. We then went to a show featuring Cape Breton music which was a fiddler, a piano player and a Gaelic singer, dancer, drummer and flute player. We participated in a line dance.
