Well what a drive. Seven hours of driving to break the camels back and make our trip home 4 days instead of 6 Can't think of how people live here...7 hours of driving from Adelaide across country to Hay and seeing absolutely nothing...towns have 3 houses each...nothing open as Easter Sunday...but probably nothing anyway...no cows, no sheep, no houses...just a vast land of flat nothing...roads so straight you can see for miles. unbelievable!!, and so flat....so looking forward to civilisation!!,..just as well we had lots of water, an Easter bunny and 2 bananas...no coffee...ugh!!! We bought iced coffee at an iga and a banana for lunch on a cold park bench! Finally found a bakery open so had a sandwich and a lady told us of a good hotel in hay so we headed for there. Nice room and made soup for dinner with rest of Easter egg! Good sleep tonight
