Next stop was Wilsons Prom. I was looking forward to this after the hype that Tuan had gone on about it for ages!
After a few hours drive we came across a nice looking town where it looked like some sort of market was going on so we decided to stop. It was in the area of Lakes Entrance which is really beautiful. Really nice views.
We had a walk around the market and ended up buying some Baklava for desert later :) We stopped off in a few places on our way through the lakes area and then carried on till we arrived at the entrance to Wilsons Prom.
Its a wildlife reserve so we paid $20 to head in to stay the night. There is a small village type area in the middle of the reserve.
I have to agree with Tuan about how nice this place was now that i was driving through it. Instantly it felt really untouched, we saw a few Emu's as we drove through which i really wasnt expecting. When we came round one of the corners to be faced with the sea views it was incredible. Pristine beaches, hugh boulders on the sand, really nice, check out the pics! We pulled up at one of the beaches where the sunset is supposed to be amazing and had some dinner before walking on the beach to check out the sunset and climb a few boulders.
After sunset we headed to the camp area and just chilled out, once the light was gone the sky became filled with more stars than i have ever seen before, it was awesome.
