Im adding to this intro as its been 2 years since I first left the UK to travel through Asia and Australia. There are now 2 intros to this blog.

I arrived back in the UK in October 2011 to start planning the next big adventure with Adam Maher!

Adam + Lukes Winter Adventure Across The World !

Hi everyone

We thought it was about time that "Adam and Luke" we set loose on the world so we individually had a think about what we wanted to do and when we told eachother what we wanted we both said the same things!

Our basic route is to travel via Amsterdam thorugh northern Germany up into Denmark where we will then travel into Norway and take a cruise up the coast into the Arctic circle where we can see the northern lights, snowboard, ice fish etc then back down through Sweden, across into Finland and then travel acorss Russia, Mongolia and China on the Trans Siberian Express. Finally we will hit some warm weather when we get to Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thiland. We dont know where to next after that.

We are leaving on the 8th Jan, its going to be bloody freezing and temps will get down to about -30 but we've kitted up with loads of winter gear so its going to be fun!

We're also armed with a guitar and mandolin so there should be some funny experiences to tell of our train journeys as we try and get the locals to join in ;)

Keep an eye out for updates, we should be getting some pretty cool pics with some of the activities we have planned but you'll find out about that as we go along.

Luke Abroad - Back from January 2010

Hey All

As most of you know im off round the world so ive made this site for you to check out what im up to, see my photos and catch up with me if you want!

I was planning on going RTW on my own untill I came across the gapyear.com website where I put up a post detailing my route and asked if anyone fancied coming along.

2 weeks later there were a load of people saying they were up for it so I made a facebook group for us to start planning things.

After getting rid off all people who were just "all talk" there was a group of 18 people willing to book with me who I had never met before!! Yes its a bit crazy going away with this many people you have never met but its all about the adventure and making new friends at the end of the day.

I made some plans of where and when I wanted to go and researched the things to do. Before we knew it the 18 of us had all handed over our hard earned money and were set to leave together on the 18 Jan 2010 9:45pm on an epic journey around the world!
