We had organized a weekend away to see the Takhi horse, which is a seperte species to the horse with a much larger head and Zebra like strips on, its the only true wild horse on the planet. After our relatively short eight hour train journey to Ulan-Ude we headed out to find our Hostel. We knew it was in the center of town and also next to the Largest sculpture of Lenin's head in Russia, no surprise we found the Hostel pretty quickly.
