Today at Dots we went into Castlemaine and the surrounding area. The community are holding an open garden week so we went to a few of the properties on the way round. In the morning we looked around Castlemaine information centre and what was going on in the local community. Today a drive to Dots in Castlemaine. Without stops about 3 hours. Most of the roads here are so straight and empty that driving becomes a bit boring and you can feel your eyes going. I'm sure they took their road building plan from the Romans. Very straight roads. Been through a town (village) today where instead of having a war memorial they have part of a road.
