Lovewells vs The World
The Road to San Fransisco: The journey was long, but not boring, because we were playing a silly spot it game, and some of the things we had to find were absolutely ridiculous, like a driver picking their nose! We nearly found everything...just a swimming pool and an ambulance to go. When we arrived at San Francisco We went to Lombard street and drove down the world's curviest street. It was a very tight zig zag road surrounded by flowers. And there were people taking photos in the middle of the road the whole way down. We drove past the piers and districts of the city. It is very hilly, like Wellington. We had to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge to get to our hotel, and it was very foggy and windy. When we got out to see the view (?) we were freezing...we had got used to hot weather! We got lost getting to our hotel because the sat Nav didn't know where it was. We ended up having to use a map (shock, horror...it was like the olden days!). Finally we found it, but when we entered our room, we were all hit with the stench of wee. It was dreadful! Luckily, the room had a coffee maker, which we used to drown out the smell. Once our room was sufficiently coffeed, we went outside to find that it was builderville and we all decided this hotel was a bit 'er' ish. We are all glad we are not staying here too long. Gemma On the way to the hotel we had to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge. Well, actually it was a grey gate bridge. OK it doesn't really have a gate and... but anyway,we got to the hotel room to find, cough cough gag gag, the hotel smelled awful! Luckily,we went straight out to dinner which was a omelette - yum yum! Daniel
