From Gemma. I wrote lots about the stunning scenery in Yosemite national park, but it disappeared (sad face). I refuse to write it all again... But I will tell you that we had to look out for a few animals at Yosemite: Wolves, mountain lions, and bears! The ranger gives you a pamphlet telling you what to do. You have to put any food or anything smelly in special steel lockers if you leave your vehicle, or the Bears will smell it and come for it. They are hungry right now because they have just come out of hibernation...gulp! And if you have an encounter with a mountain lion (cougar) you have to fight back. Sadly/happily we didn't see any ferocious beasts, just squirrels. But we did see bear tracks, and claw mark on a tree... So they are definitely around!
