Our hotel in Miami was great. We stayed in North Miami beach, right on the beach, and it was a good swimming beach. The water was warm, an the waves were fun. The only problem was the lightning! It just kept coming in. We had an amazing view from our room though. We always try to eat like a local wherever we are. Here, we ate Cuban the first night, piles of deliciousness and way too much food on our tasting platter: plantains, Fritos, incredible stuffed potatoes...

We made our way back to shore on a jet ski with dads friend Chezney driving. It flew across the water! Then we went around a Key West town for a while. Next it was back up the highway. I saw a blimp just about 2-3 minutes ago and I just saw one now! And now we just spotted an eagles nest! There is so much to see here. Key west Last night we got to sleep in a house boat... it was so much fun! It rocked and rolled because it was quite stormy. We jumped off the boat for a swim that was really fun. Today we went further down Florida and into the Everglades. We went on an airboat tour over a murky swamp full of gators, and it was awesome. We saw three big alligators, and we fed them marshmallows! Who knew that alligators would like marshmallows? The boat did 360s and splashed water everywhere... not that that mattered as it was wet anyway, we were in the middle of a thunder storm! This morning we went to the pool, which is actually a waterpark. It has slides, a waterfall, and a lazy river. l even went on a really big and fast water slide.
