Lovewells vs The World
Daniel Something day... and I don't know what day it is so I can't tell you what day. We started at the Mono lake. I thought the mono lake was nice. They said it was saltier then the sea and to Taste it...it actually tasted good though! It felt soft and looked like oil. I caught some baby shrimp and luckily I had my my new spotting scope because I spotted a ground squirrel on the tufa tower. tufa towers are awesome structures made by bubbling water under the lake bringing minerals like calcium to the surface. They used to be under the water but then they took the water from the lake to use it for los Angeles until the water got so low that they realised that it wasn't good what they were doing and they weren't treating the place well. So now they are trying to fill it up again to make the area ecological again so the birds come back. The rock I had my lunch on was actually a huge piece of granite and it made a great deck chair. I managed to get some small pieces of granite to bring back to show you. TOO MANY WATERFALLS DAY was on,so,we went on up to the snowy mountains, and like I said before, I saw about 12 waterfalls and about 30 percent of them lwere big and by big I mean huge! I scrambled slowly down the gravelly slope and found a lake. It was FREEZING! I couldn't even see the bottom. I suspected that it might have been an ice lake before because the water was so cold and the next lake along had actual icebergs on it! The road was windy and so high it made your ears pop. It was a fun and peaceful drive through nature.
