Just spent the morning checking out the city of Charlotte. Very different to what we imagined! The city itself is quite small and steeped in history around the civil war. There's hardly any traffic - unusual for the USA! The surrounding suburbs are really pretty with trees everywhere and big old homes. It's a lovely place actually. We saw the plane that landed on the Hudson River In charlotte. It wasn’t in a good state. The doors had been taped back on, there was a hole in the nose, a hole in the cowling, and the flaps had also been taped back on. But no one died in the river landing! That was a miracle.
