Hello!

Been a lovely day again today - feel like I have actually changed colour! One of the guys has really really badly burnt, he's gonna feel ill tomoro!

Been to Cairns Tropical Zoo today, which is a touchy feely zoo full of Aussie creatures! Hehe. Have cuddled a koala (and had my photo taken of course!), held an aligator and fed kangaroos and stroked a wombat! Also saw some cookaburras (they wake me up every morning but I aint actually seen any til now!) and dingos and stuff! Was good! Was in the rainforest, so was quite sheltered from the sun - it's been stupidly hot today!

Then from the zoo went down to the beach nearby, for an hour or so. It was nice, but it didn't live up to my expectations of a beautiful tropical aussie beach! It was like a nice clean british beach! No white sand, it was busy and the water wasnt very clear! The only difference was that there were rainforesty hills all around and there were jellyfish nets! (the jellyfish in northern oz can kill)

Couldn't see the reef, but apparently the beaches in cairns arent great - sure ill find better! it was nice, just not amazing!

Going to cape tribulation on monday and have found out there is no reception for phones there, or internet (well there is but tis expensive!)
