Hello!

Well my boredom yesterday was resolved!

Bumped into a guy yesterday arvo who I had been briefly chatting to the day before. He offered me a lift to Hervey Bay and invited me to a bit of a gathering he was having with some other random people! Turned out that it was this Aussie guy and his son who had rented an apartment, then Dan (the guy who gave me a lift) had been recruited by them, and there was an english girl, 2 Canadians (one of whom really reminded me of an older version of William, my step brother! he looked exactly the same but 24!) and a swedish girl. Pretty cool night, just sat on their balcony drinkin beeeeeerrr.

Then got a lift with this guy Dan down to Hervey Bay. greyhound wouldn't let me cancel my ticket/change it cos it was on special offer, but I didn't realkly care cos I was getting a lift for free in a comfier car! Lol! We stopped in Bundaburg on the way down, which is where they make bundaburg rum (the most popular spirit in oz apparently!), and tried some of this legendary rum! Was quite nice!

Then arrived in hervey bay ready to do my trip to fraser island tomorrow! Weee. Excited! Been a good couple of days and luckily the weather is gorgeous again! Back in a few days then I suppose! xx

Also, forgot to say that I didn't get to go on the trip to the Fitzroy lagoon reef thing which I was a bit gutted about - there were really bad winds and rain boooo.
