Hi everyone!

Well it's Tuesday evening here...!

Oz Intro has started, I think the last people in my dorm arrived on Sun and then a couple more in another room on Monday morning. Yesterday we had the city orientation, which consisted of wondering around the places I've already seen! And a jet boat ride around the harbour which was good fun!

There's 2 groups doing Oz Intro, and everyone in both groups are nice. There's 3 scottish people who are very loud and chavvy, but they're ok. The one girl is particularly bad and is actually like one of the women off ladette to lady! Haha, but the rest are fine.

Most people are flying up to Cairns after this week which is what I wanna do. Am looking forward to being completely out there on my own. I am glad I have paid for OzIntro, cos they've sorted out all the boring stuff for me, and they are a help with where to go and how to get settled in, but I don't really like the way everything is planned out for me!

Today we went to sort out Medicare cards - I can now get free emergency treatment, free visits to a GP and subsidised prescriptions! Also had a work/travel talk, and got my Oz bank card.

Went to the Aquarium this afternoon which was good. But, they only gave us an hour to go round - which was not enough at all! I can't wait to do what I want at my own pace like! We then sat outside the aquarium for an hour whilst we waited for the bus, which was ridiculous! Would rather have spent that hour in the aquarium!

Going to a backpacker bar tonight, with both Oz Intro groups. Be nice to go out, but I am so tired! I think I've only had about 4 hours sleep the last 3 nights because people keep coming in druink and screaming in our room which is ridiculous as well! Lol, stayed in so many dorms and hostels in Europe last year and no one did that - it's just courtesy to go to the communal rooms! Hopefully it'l;l calm down a bvit when people get settled in more!

Going surfing tomoro - the bus is picking us up at 8.30am, which'll be nice! We've all been getting up fairly early anyway so it'll be alright! Won't be drinking tonight tho! the boys got up at 6.30 this m,orning to go in the sea! It's freezing, but I really want to go in too, but I was asleep!

Anyway, surfing tomoro, so I'll let you all know how I get on! Haha! Could be amusing!
