Day 102
New Zealanders are renowned for their action and adventure, so we decided to get into the swing of things by visiting 1 of the only 2 offical Zorbing spots in the world. For those who don't know zorbing involves getting into a huge ball and being pushed down a hill.
It sounds mental and it is but heaps of fun. There were few options either dry or wet, straight or zig zag tracks, strapped in or not strapped in and either single or double. We decided on the one that looked the craziest, the water filled, singular zig zag track.
Al went first and it was a freezing cold day and Al was the only one in just his swimmer shorts. Lorna stayed at the bottom to take photos and then we swapped over. Lorna was the only one in a bikini so nicked Al's shorts to feel more decent.
After the zorbing we went back and got ready as we were being picked up by Mel, Neil and kids later for a meal. Before heading into Leamington, Cambridge to stay at their house for a few days, as Mel is Lorna's Mum's cousin.
