Day 127-128
We left Greymouth in the afternoon and one of our stops enabled us to have a look around Paparoa National Park's Blow Holes and Pancake Rocks. The coast line we drove up is rated amongst the 10 most beautiful in the world.
We arrived in Nelson in the evening and watched 'The Singer' with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony which was based on a true story.
The following day we had a walk around the Saturday Market which was great for fresh produce. We also saw a young oriental looking boy playing the Bagpipes and he was brilliant, so much so we gave him a couple of dollars. Then we walked around town and realised that there wasn't much to do. So we decided to go to the cinema and watch 'Hancock'.
Back at the hostel we played a game of table football. Al was thrashing Lorna 7-0 when Lorna scored and screamed at the top of her voice only to get funny looks from the people peacefully reading. The game ended 10-2.
