Hi everyone!

It's raining today, so it's a good time to update the blog. Thursday was a picture perfect day. Blue sky, sunny warm. We rented bikes and rode to Cocles-- a beautfiul rainforest beach about 1 mile down the road. We had lunch and hung at the beach for a few hours. The kids had fun in the surf. I was a little nervous because the surf in Cocles is big and powerful. Holden ventured out a little too far from me and almost got pummled a few times by the Rasta surfers.

Yesterday was another off-and-on rainy day, but I was able to get out and surf. I had a very successful day with Alexander. He taught me a lot. Jon and I went into town ALONE for lunch and to get more groceries. I had some fantastic sushi and Saki Mojitos! (Thought of you Kel!) After two hours of surfing, I was starving and I ate 15 pieces of sushi!! We hung around Kaya's place for awhile and then went out for pizza. We have a found a spot called El Dorado that we like...Our waiter, Oscar takes good care of us.

Today Jon woke up early and headed for Cocles to surf. He got a few good rides, but he wiped out and the board broke again. He's bringing it back and is going to try to get another board (grrrrrr!!!!) We'll probably spend the day walking around town and shopping. Maybe we'll get in the water...who knows...? I'll upload more photos later today or tomorrow.
